What is an artwork style guide and why do I need one?
A style guide serves as a reference document for content creators, designers, and freelancers. Its purpose is to maintain brand consistency, ensuring that all communications are in line with the brand identity, cohesive with existing artwork, and effectively convey the intended message to the target audience.
An artwork style guide exists to help make sure the artwork is used in a way that is respectful of the artwork and the original artist. It helps guide the designers on how to appropriately use and apply the artwork to any branding, documents or media while preserving the integrity of the artwork and its creator. At Ochre Dawn we always place artistic integrity first, which is why we ask for them! If you don’t have one for your artwork we can work with you and the artist to make one.
