SA Fashion Weekend
Support Partner
This month we had the pleasure of becoming a support partner for the SA Fashion Weekend Event that ran over the last weekend of March. A few Ochre Dawn team members attended the event and included some exclusive pictures (and videos) of their favourite bits.
Thank you to Ashum Yarlupina Owen from Ngangki Warra for the beautiful Welcome to Country video presentation. Ashum is a proud Kaurna, Ngarrindjeri and Narrunga woman. Ngangki Warra is a Kaurna female-led cultural group that aims to magnify the existence of the matriarchy on Kaurna Yarta through language, dance and culture.
We also loved seeing lots of emerging labels, First Nations designers and sustainable brands including. Lakun Mara, Jagger Sleepwear and Elverina Johnson whose runway designs were totally gorgeous.
