Ochre Dawn is actively seeking an exceptional Finance & Administration Officer to become an integral part of our creative and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

Finance:

  • Generate regular financial reports and forecasts for the company as well as individual projects, offering insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Analyse company profitability data for strategic decision-making.
  • Manage debtor collections and maintain client accounts receivable.
  • Prepare income projection reports and reconcile invoices.
  • Handle creditor invoices and maintain job cost records.
  • Process invoices for payment and manage account reconciliation with creditors.

 Project Administration:

  • Maintain project admin files and issue job numbers for new projects.
  • Update project cash flow and produce costing and information reports as needed.
  • Review project profitability and provide budget/costing reports.
  • Assist with procurement tasks such as sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and managing vendor relationships.

Human Resources & Payroll:

  • Manage timesheet data entry, approval, and posting.
  • Maintain employee/payroll files and administer leave entitlements.

To excel in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced professional environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to project a professional company image.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Initially, this position is part-time, approximately 20 hours per week. However, there is potential for it to transition into a full-time role in the future, if desired.
